OUR FOOD

We cater for all, making our dishes vegan or vegetarian with the opportunity to add eggs, dairy and meat should you so wish! We source our meat locally and our eggs are free range.

 

We also know that some people like dishes hot and spicy, whereas others prefer their food a little more on the mild side! We offer several different sambols and chutneys at different levels of heat and spice, so just let us know how you like it!

You will be able to hear the clanging of blades coming from our van as we chop up homemade roti, fresh vegetables and spices on our griddle as we cook the popular street food dish Kottu Roti to order. Vegan at base, we offer several different toppings, such as devilled chicken, devilled paneer, a fried egg or pineapple.

For the feeling of a proper homely Sri Lankan meal nothing beats rice and curry! Our curry is always vegan and gluten free and comes with the vegetable curry itself, rice, dhal, a side vegetable and plenty of different sambols to choose from! Meat eaters are welcome to add devilled chicken as a topping if they want to!

We love egg hoppers, they are the perfect breakfast food! Our hoppers are made with a batter of rice flour, yeast and coconut milk and cooked in a bowl shaped pan with an egg poached inside, we then add different sambols and chutneys catered to your palette. We can also cook these without egg for our vegan friends!

For smaller appetites we also make short eats, which are delicious Sri Lankan snacks.
